Updated: Aug 30
Job hunting and interviewing can be a very stressful time in your life and it's important to be well prepared. We connected with a few of our recruiters from Stryker locations around the world and asked them to give us their best tips for job seekers. Here are a few tips to help you prepare for your next interview with Stryker.
1. Adapt your resume
"Recruiters receive hundreds of applications and resumes/CVs every day. Adapt your resume and application to the job you are applying for, and make sure to be memorable by differentiating yourself from others."
- Nathalie, Recruiter in Germany
2. Don't forget the basics
"Arrive on time, pay attention to your outfit, be excited, be curious and ask questions! While some of these seem obvious, bringing curiosity and great questions can make the difference."
- Alexandra, Recruiter in Germany
3. Always have your achievements ready
"Be able to comment your figures and explain your commercial approach. Always think about specific examples to help illustrate your point."
- Cecilia, Recruiter in France
4. Don't be hesitant
"Be proud and open about your achievements in the past and show us that you are as driven as we are to make healthcare better."
- Torben, Recruiter in Germany
5. Share something about you (not just your experience)
"At Stryker, it's not always about your experience, it's about your talent and your strengths. When I'm speaking with candidates, I want to hear about what makes you great. Whatever it may be, I want to hear about it."
- Laura, Recruiter in the U.S.
