When does Stryker recruit for interns?
Our locations in The Netherlands recruit for interns throughout the year. If you’re not seeing any openings, we encourage you to join our talent community for the latest news and internship opportunities.
If I submit one application, is it overarching towards all applications?
You must apply for each role that you are interested in pursuing.
I have applied and haven’t heard back; when should I expect to hear?
Our internships are filled on a rolling basis. University recruiters communicate with candidates through our applicant tracking system so please ensure your email address is correct. There are times where emails can be sent to your junk mail, so please also be sure to monitor your junk mail account as well.
I don’t have any previous internship experience would you consider me for an internship?
Absolutely! Depending on the role and what the hiring manager is looking for, we will consider students who bring transferrable skills to the role (leadership, class projects, etc.)
I filled out all my information at a careers fair already, does this mean I have applied for a role or do I still need to apply on the Stryker Careers site?
Thank you for taking the time complete your information at the event. In order to formally be considered as a candidate, you will still need to submit a formal application via our career site.
When should I start to apply for positions that start after I graduate?
There is no right or wrong time to start applying. We typically recommend to start applying to full-time roles of interest anywhere between 2-3 months before your graduation date. Since our hiring process can include various rounds of interviews, this allows time to complete the process prior to graduation or shortly after.
Can I still be hired if Stryker doesn’t come to my school's career fair?
Of course! Unfortunately, it would be impossible for our team to attend all the career fairs offered by schools. If we were unable to attend your school’s fair, we still want to connect with you. Be sure to join the talent community to connect with us!
Will I be working/collaborating with fellow interns on projects or will I be assigned more individual projects?
Our internship program curriculum is project based. Typically, an intern will be assigned to projects that are impactful to the business and would be similar to those projects worked on by full-time Stryker employees. Whether those projects are done individually or in collaboration with other interns ultimately depends on the team’s needs.
