Here are 7 reasons to join our team in the UK:

  1. We build belonging into our culture

At Stryker, inclusion isn’t a program; it’s part of who we are. From day one, you’ll find a culture that celebrates your perspective and supports you as you grow.

Through mentorship, open dialogue and shared goals, we create a space for connection and community. At Stryker, you’ll be seen, heard and valued in an environment where you can thrive.

  1. We have an award-winning culture

In addition to local awards and recognitions, we’re proud to be consistently recognised as one of the World’s Best Workplaces. These acknowledgements reflect the impact of our people and the culture we built together.

  1. We like to have fun!

We encourage participation in a wide range of events and social activities beyond day-to-day work. Each year, Stryker in the United Kingdom takes part in the annual Corporate Games, a

multi-sport employee wellbeing event with something for everyone, from football and hockey to e-games. Our weekly running club offers a midday boost during lunch, and our on-site gym is open to all employees. We recognise and celebrate service milestones, make time for shared moments with doughnuts, cakes and fruit at team events, and our Culture Champions actively encourage engagement within individual teams. We also host Bring Your Family to Work Day, welcoming children and families for a day of connection that includes a children’s disco with a live DJ, crafts, hands-on role play with Stryker equipment and more.

  1. We believe in flexibility

Whether you need to take a break in our on-site massage pods, work quietly in one of our multi-functional meeting rooms, or work from home, we believe work can be done productively and effectively using our four flexible working models. Depending on the role you are in, we offer a flexibility model to suit your needs.

  1. We value your wellbeing

Our United Kingdom team celebrates BeWell month throughout May. BeWell activities include a calendar of events to help support employees' emotional wellbeing while also ensuring our employees are equipped with the knowledge to implement and sustain healthy habits. A number of sessions are held to help support our employees, including mediation classes, overcoming burnout sessions and more. Employees are also encouraged to speak with their manager and team about wellbeing during this month.

  1. We enjoy giving back to our community

We are passionate about supporting local and national charities, and our employees love giving back to the community. Whether it is hosting a three-day work experience event with a charity

partner, or running and cycling for a good cause such as Operation Smile.

  1. We grow talent

At Stryker, we recognise and champion our people. Our uniquely talented employees are at the heart of our business's success, and we want to ensure each person drives their own career. We offer various programs, including mentoring, access to resources like LinkedIn Learning, Individualised Development Plans (IDP), and job shadowing.

Fun fact:

The beautiful mural in the Newbury office's atrium was designed by a local artist in Newbury!
