You’ll find Stryker’s United Kingdom office in the prime location of Newbury, overlooking the famous Newbury Racecourse. Our office is within walking distance of Newbury’s market town and an hour from London. This recently refurbished, modern office brings together our sales and marketing, customer and logistics, enabling functions and warehouse teams. We also provide first-hand training for our Mako robot, and each department works closely with one another to serve as a high-performing, region of excellence.

Every year, Stryker in the United Kingdom takes part in the annual ‘Corporate Games’, a comprehensive multi-sport employee wellbeing event with something for everyone, whether it be football, hockey, or e-games! Our weekly running club allows for a boost of serotonin during lunch, and our on-site gym is open to all employees. We recognize and award long-service, ensure there are doughnuts, cakes, and fruit on hand for various events and Stryker’s culture champion’s encourage engagement within individual teams.

Whether you need to take a break in our on-site massage pods, work quietly in one of our multi-functional meeting rooms, or work from home, we believe work can be done productively and effectively using our four flexible working models. Depending on the role you are in, we offer a flexibility model to suit your needs. Our warehouse team members are encouraged to take ‘Round the Tree’ time, to take a breather and relax in the canteen with a hot or cold beverage!


5. We champion total well-being

Our United Kingdom team celebrates BeWell month throughout May. BeWell activities include a calendar of events to help support employee's emotional wellbeing while also ensuring our employees are equipped with the knowledge to implement and sustain healthy habits.

A number of sessions are held to help support our employees, including mediation classes, overcoming burnout sessions and more.

Employees are also encouraged to speak with their manager and team about wellbeing during this month.


6. We enjoy giving back to our community

We are passionate about supporting local and national charities, and our employees love giving back to the community. Whether is hosting a three-day work experience event with a charity partner, or running and cycling for a good cause such as Operational Smile which helps fund surgeries for children born with a cleft condition and festive charity boxes.
